Making a paper flower was the first Cricut project I’ve ever completed and I’ve been making them since! Whether or not you have a Cricut, you can make these large paper flowers with this tutorial. Follow along as I share with you step-by-step how to make large paper flowers. Below are all the cut details and materials you’ll need to create your very own DIY large paper flower!
✧ CUTS NEEDED ✧
▹ 8 bud cuts
▹ 8 cuts of the medium-sized petals
▹ 8-12 cuts of the larger-sized petals *note: my large paper flowers usually come out to be 12-14 inches in diameter
▹ CRICUT USERS: If you are using my template on Cricut Design Space, all cuts fit perfectly on seven sheets of 12x12 cardstock paper. This is a super easy Cricut project and I'm excited for you to try it out!
▹ NON-CRICUT USERS: I cut out these petals on my Cricut, but if you don’t have a Crict, no problem! My template is printer-friendly and you may cut out the petal shapes yourself. Stack up your papers and cut them all by hand! Good luck!!
✧ MATERIALS USED ✧
▹ Cardstock Paper! I typically use Light Cardstock Paper such as 65lb paper. Here are some of my favorites: Cardstock 1 | Cardstock 2 | Cardstock 3
▹ Glue Gun
▹ Cricut Maker
