Christina & Tyler ♡ November 19, 2016

As a wedding planner, I have the opportunity to see both small and large-scale events come to life.  For this particular wedding, the simplicity of it all is what made the day so beautiful.

The ceremony took place on Oahu's beautiful North Shore, which was only a few steps from their beachfront bungalow.  The attendees included the wedding party and close family members and friends.  With a ceremony time of 3:00 PM, we long expected heat, sweat, and a beaming sun.  But to our surprise, the entire day consisted of cool winds and sprinkles of rain here and there.

The reception followed and took place at the Pikake Pavilion of Waimea Valley.  This open air venue was perfect for their guest count of less than a hundred.  The guests sat comfortably around the newlywed's sweetheart table and dance floor (which was put to great use throughout the whole night!).  Lanterns, candles, and string lights filled the space with a warm white glow and dinner music by Jeremy Cheng was the perfect touch.

I truly enjoyed working with Christina, as she is incredibly sweet and caring.  It humbles me to have witnessed the love between Christina and Tyler.  From the exchange of their vows to their first dance, their love was absolutely captivating. (I must admit that when they exchanged their vows, I got a bit teary-eyed.) Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Sarmiento!

Here's the Snapchat Geofilter I created for the reception at the Pikake Pavillion...featuring my two amazing assistants. :)

Check out the amazing vendors that took part in this special day!
